Our own LAMS Transit Plus Wheelchair is made from strong lightweight aluminium. Light to lift and easy to fold with a half folding back for easy storage in a vehicle.
Attendant lockable brakes along with hand brakes on the rear wheels. The LAMS Transit Plus has extra features over standard transit wheelchairs. The arms flip up when needed for side access to the seat. A generous height to the back of the wheelchair for excellent support, also giving a comfortable height for the push handles. The seat on the wheelchair is a generous 18″ width and is strong enough to carry nearly 19 stone. The footrest are fully adjustable in length. There is a seat belt fitted and the LAMS Transit Plus is crash tested for use in a vehicle.
