The Dorchester Rise and Recline Chair is now available in a Tilt in Space variation. For those unfamiliar with this mechanism it allows the user a higher leg lift than standard mechanisms. It also tilts the seat back as opposed to a full recline so whilst moving back the chair remains in touch with and supports the user at all times. Generally this type of mechanism is favoured by occupational therapists for their clients.
